COMPLIANCE & ETHICS

Our expectations around compliance and ethics

Shared Health is committed to a corporate culture of compliance and ethics. We encourage business associates to adopt a Code of Conduct particular to their own organization that reflects a commitment to prevent, detect and correct any occurrences of unethical behavior.

In addition, a situation where the interests or activities of the agency or its representatives could influence judgment or decisions in such a way to compromise the ability to act in the best interest of their customers or contractual obligations could be deemed a conflict of interest.

A conflict of interest may also include activities that only appear to influence judgment or decisions. The agency and its representatives must ensure that they don’t engage in activities that create a conflict of interest or are otherwise incompatible with their responsibilities as a representative of Shared Health.

The agency should notify Shared Health if it becomes aware of any conflicts of interest that could possibly affect the contractual relationship.
